Fox Sports has announced a historic milestone for American television by broadcasting 69 matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This marks the highest number of games ever aired by a single network in U.S. history.

Eric Shanks, CEO and executive producer of Fox Sports, expressed enthusiasm about the unprecedented production. “FOX Sports’ presentation of FIFA World Cup 26 will be the biggest in our 32-year history,” he stated.
Broadcast Details
Approximately two-thirds of the total 104 matches in the tournament will air on linear television, a significant increase from the 34 matches shown during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
