NFL Fines Giants Rookie Cam Skattebo Twice in One Week
 
                                The NFL has taken disciplinary action against the New York Giants and their rookie players in response to multiple violations. The organization was fined $200,000 due to a breach of concussion protocol during a Week 6 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Head coach Brian Daboll was also penalized, facing a $100,000 fine. Rookie running back Cam Skattebo received a $15,000 fine for his involvement in an incident where he and Daboll entered the blue medical tent. This occurred while rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart was being assessed for a concussion.

After the fines were announced, Skattebo addressed the media. He expressed relief that his teammate Dart was healthy following the incident. “I don’t really got any comments. I’m just glad Jaxson’s healthy. They took action; it’s over with,” he stated.
Additional Fines for Skattebo
However, Skattebo’s troubles did not end there. He was fined an additional $6,157 for “unnecessary roughness” during a Week 7 loss to the Denver Broncos. This infraction involved striking, kicking, tripping, or kneeing during Dart’s interception but went unpenalized during the game.
Fines for Other Giants Players
Alongside Skattebo, running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. was fined $5,731 for “unnecessary roughness.” This violation occurred early in the game and also went unpenalized, coming from a two-yard run on first-and-10. This was Tracy’s first fine of the season.
