University of Alabama Students Elect 2025 Homecoming Queen
The University of Alabama is gearing up for its 2025 homecoming celebrations with students engaging in a spirited competition for the title of homecoming queen. The voting will take place on November 12, 2023, with the results announced on November 14 during a pep rally and bonfire event.
2025 Homecoming Queen Candidates
Five students have been selected as candidates for the title of 2025 homecoming queen. Each candidate has expressed a commitment to support various initiatives through the Homecoming Queen Endowed Impact Fund.

Sydney Blackhurst
A junior from Gilbert, Arizona, Blackhurst is majoring in accounting and is part of the UA swimming and diving team. She plans to support the UA Rise Center, a preschool program aiding children with disabilities.

Morgan Grzybowski
This senior from Wildwood, Missouri, majors in biology and co-founded the women’s hockey team. Grzybowski aims to support Remote Area Medical, which provides medical care to underserved communities.

Carrington Mills
A senior majoring in chemical engineering from Pelham, Mills wants to raise awareness for the Student Veterans Association, focusing on veteran suicide prevention resources.

Rachel Rybicki
Rybicki, a senior from Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, is a double major in finance and economics with a minor in Spanish. She has a keen interest in supporting education initiatives at Flatwoods Elementary.

Crawford West
A senior from Birmingham, West is majoring in public health. She is an active member of the track and field cross-country team, planning to support UA Paws, which collaborates with the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter.
Homecoming Events Schedule
The homecoming festivities will include a parade on November 15, 2023, where the homecoming queen and her court will participate. The crowning ceremony will take place during halftime of the football game against Oklahoma.
Celebrating Previous Homecoming Queen
Last year’s homecoming queen, Hannah Adams, earned her title during an event on October 25, 2024. Adams, a senior from Birmingham, was honored during halftime of the Alabama-Missouri game, where Alabama secured a victory with a score of 34-0.
