Wil Stroman, a local pastor, has organized a weekly food bank specifically for federal employees affected by the shutdown. This initiative will continue every Friday until the situation is resolved. One federal worker, Anthony Speight, expressed disbelief at finding himself in a position of need after 17 years of service. Having formerly worked as a grants administrator, Speight highlighted the overwhelming uncertainty he now faces.
