Tom Golisano Launches 10-Hospital Network Across Eastern U.S.

Tom Golisano has officially launched the Golisano Children’s Alliance, a network of ten hospitals across the eastern United States. This initiative aims to enhance pediatric care by facilitating resource sharing and improving access to essential services for children and their families.

Funding and Hospital Network

The Golisano Children’s Alliance will benefit from a significant investment of $253 million from Golisano. This funding will support six hospitals, which will join three existing facilities already named after Golisano:

  • Golisano Children’s Hospital, Rochester, NY
  • Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, Syracuse, NY
  • Golisano Children’s Hospital, Fort Myers, FL

As of January 1, Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo will be renamed Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. The following six hospitals will receive substantial financial support:

  • Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Hartford, CT – $50 million
  • Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, Hershey, PA – $50 million
  • University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital, Lexington, KY – $50 million
  • University of Maryland Children’s Hospital, Baltimore, MD – $50 million
  • University of Vermont Children’s Hospital, Burlington, VT – $25 million
  • WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital, Morgantown, WV – $28 million
