Dreyer quickly advanced through the Los Angeles minor league system after joining the team in 2022. He earned a spot on the 40-man roster by late 2024.

His first Major League appearance occurred on March 19, 2025, against the Chicago Cubs during the Tokyo Series. In the Wild Card Series against the Cincinnati Reds, he faced a crucial situation with the bases loaded and one out, successfully limiting the damage by recording two outs.

High School Achievements

During his time at Johnston High School, Dreyer was a dominant presence on the mound. He pitched a complete game in the Class 4A state championship, striking out 13 batters. Over his high school career, he won 23 games, accumulating 195 strikeouts in just over 149 innings. His senior year standout record includes a perfect 10-0 with a remarkable 0.34 earned run average.
