Andrew Tate to Fight Misfits, Succeeding KSI as CEO

Andrew Tate is preparing for a boxing match under the Misfits banner, claiming the role of CEO previously held by KSI. Tate will square off against Chase DeMoor, a TV personality, in Dubai on December 20, 2023. This match marks Tate’s boxing debut, following a successful kickboxing career.
Andrew Tate’s Boxing Debut
The upcoming fight features Andrew Tate, 38, a British-American influencer and former professional kickboxer. He holds an impressive record of 76 wins, including 32 knockouts, along with 9 losses and 1 draw. Tate, who has also competed in mixed martial arts, sees this bout as a new beginning in the boxing world.
KSI’s Departure and Tate’s New Role
Tate recently announced that he has replaced YouTube star KSI as the CEO of Misfits. In a statement, he said, “Welcome to your new CEO, it wasn’t a hostile takeover but it was certainly planned.” Tate expressed his determination to elevate Misfits on the global stage, working alongside Mams Taylor.

Legal Challenges for Andrew Tate
Despite his rising profile in boxing, Tate faces serious legal issues. He and his brother, Tristan, have been charged with multiple offenses, including rape and human trafficking. In May 2024, the UK Crown Prosecution Service levied 21 charges against them, further complicating Tate’s situation.
The service attributed the charges to three alleged victims against Andrew, while Tristan faces accusations related to one victim. Both brothers deny the allegations and remain under investigation in both Romania and the United States.
The Future of Misfits Promotion
Under Tate’s leadership, Misfits aims to continue expanding its brand. He claims, “Considering that I’m the largest name on the planet, if I’m gonna fight on an organisation, why not fight on an organisation that I own a percentage of?” This strategic move hints at Tate’s effort to blend business with his boxing ambitions.
Misfits was initially launched by KSI in 2021, where he fought five times. Now, with Tate at the helm, the promotion is set for a new direction as they approach 185 fights a year in collaboration with DAZN, a major player in sports streaming.
