Rationale Behind the Sale
In its announcement, Tip explained the motivation for this partial divestment. The investment in Bending Spoons started in 2019, following several discussions with key executives Luca Ferrari and Francesco Patarnello. Tip recognized the quality of the team and the business model, identifying significant growth potential.
Tip clarified that this sale was not indicative of a complete divestment. Instead, it aimed to demonstrate to stakeholders that it can realize partial gains while maintaining a commitment to ongoing participation in Bending Spoons.
Future Participation
Tip expressed a desire to remain involved in Bending Spoons’ governance. They remain optimistic about the future valuation, expecting it to increase substantially.
This strategic move not only reinforces Tip’s continuing interest in Bending Spoons but also signals a proactive approach to capital management within the tech investment landscape.
