Orville Peck Reveals Upcoming ‘Appaloosa’ EP Details
Orville Peck is set to release a new EP titled “Appaloosa.” This marks his return to solo songwriting after recent collaborations. Peck partnered with Noah Cyrus for the song “Love Is a Canyon” and Kesha for “Tennessee,” which includes features from Hudson Mohawke and Tayla Parx. “Tennessee” is part of the compilation album “All Things Go: 10 Years,” scheduled for release on November 7. Proceeds from this album will benefit The Ally Coalition, established by Jack and Rachel Antonoff.
Highlights of Orville Peck’s Recent Work
In 2022, Peck released a duets album titled “Stampede.” This project included various artists and was aimed at expanding the definition of country music. Notable collaborations featured:
- Kylie Minogue on “Midnight Ride”
- Beck on “Death Valley High”
- Willie Nelson for a cover of “Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fond of Each Other”

Annual Rodeo Event
In addition to his musical releases, Peck will host his seventh Annual Rodeo from November 14 to 16 in Pioneertown, California. The event will take place at Pappy & Harriet’s and will feature:

Peck will curate the event, hosting nightly afterparties and a drag brunch featuring Meatball. Notably, he will perform a different set each day and will headline on Saturday, November 15.
