Hugh Freeze’s Coaching Record
Currently, Hugh Freeze earns $6.75 million per season and has three years remaining on his contract. He was brought in to revitalize a program that has not seen a winning record since 2019. However, in his tenure at Auburn, Freeze has faced challenges.
As of now, Freeze’s record stands at 15 wins and 19 losses, including a disappointing 6-16 in SEC play. This season, Auburn has struggled in conference games, with a current record of 1-5, earning their only victory against Arkansas last week. Despite showing defensive strength, allowing only 18.6 points per game, the offense has faltered, ranking second-to-last in the SEC with an average of 340.6 yards per game.
Before joining Auburn, Freeze had notable success at Liberty, including four consecutive winning seasons, and at Ole Miss, where his team achieved a top-10 ranking.
