The incident occurred on Saturday night at Curragh Hall Crescent in Tyrrelstown. Gardaí received multiple reports about a disturbance involving a group of individuals around 10:30 PM.
Upon their arrival, witnesses reported that the individuals had already dispersed. Shortly after, a man in his 20s was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown with serious injuries. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Ongoing Investigation
In response to this incident, Gardaí have arrested a man in his 20s. He is currently being detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at a local Garda station. The scene at Curragh Hall has been preserved for forensic examination by the Garda Technical Bureau. Additionally, the office of the State Pathologist has been notified to aid in the investigation.
