To enhance safety within this volatile area, players embark on the “A First Foothold” quest, which requires the activation and repair of various essential components. This guide will assist you in completing this quest effectively and efficiently.

Overview of A First Foothold Quest

The “A First Foothold” quest consists of four key objectives that direct players to different locations across the Blue Gate map. While it is feasible to finish this quest in a single match, it may require strategic planning based on the spawning point and time constraints. Utilizing a free loadout is advisable to avoid losing valuable items during gameplay.

Quest Objectives Locations

• Rotate the Satellite Dishes on the Church Roof

This task is found in a dilapidated church situated northwest of the Data Vault, within the mountainous region of Blue Gate. Climb the boxes and scaffolding leading to the roof, where you will find the satellite dish that requires interaction.

• Nail Down the Roof Plates at Trapper’s Glade

The second objective is located in a ruined structure in Trapper’s Glade, towards the west of Blue Gate. Ascend the box on the eastern side to access the roof area, then interact with the metal sheets located between two traffic cones.

• Enable the Comms Terminal near Olive Grove

The comms terminal can be spotted easily as it rests on a small metal platform just southeast of Olive Grove. Walk up to the terminal and activate it for a quick completion of this task.

• Stabilize the Observation Deck near Ridgeline

This final task takes place at a marked observation deck in the mountain center of Ridgeline, east of Blue Gate. Be cautious of the patrolling ARC robots here as you can interact with two objects, though only one is necessary to complete this objective.
