Highmark Stadium Unveils Transportation Hub Renderings
The development of a new transportation hub outside Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park is progressing. This initiative is part of the Community Benefits Agreement designed to enhance public access to the stadium.
Location and Features of the Transportation Hub
Officials have identified a site on Abbott Road, close to Southwestern Boulevard. This location lies adjacent to the current stadium facade.
Specifications of the Hub
The planned facility will encompass two primary areas:
- Enclosed Space: Approximately 650 square feet
- Covered Canopy: A spacious 2,500-square foot area for riders
This transportation hub will serve riders of the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA), significantly improving service and access for fans and visitors alike.
