Universal Orlando Revises Annual Pass Options Before 2026 Transition

Universal Orlando has made significant updates to its annual pass options in light of the upcoming closure of Volcano Bay. The water park is set to close for an extended refurbishment from October 26, 2026, until at least March 24, 2027.

Changes to Annual Pass Options

As the closure date approaches, the 3-park annual pass, which included access to Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay, is no longer available for purchase or renewal. This decision stems from the fact that an annual pass allowing access to Volcano Bay would not be valid for a full year due to the planned closure.

No Volcano Bay-Only Pass

At this time, Universal Orlando does not offer an annual pass option that solely includes Volcano Bay. However, guests can still purchase multi-day, multi-park ticket packages that include Volcano Bay.

Volcano Bay Season Closure Dates

It is important for visitors to note that Volcano Bay will also close seasonally at select dates before its major refurbishment. Guests are advised to check the Universal Orlando park hours calendar for updated information on operational days leading up to February 2026.

  • Closing Date: October 26, 2026
  • Reopening Date: On or before March 24, 2027
  • 3-Park Annual Pass: No longer available for purchase or renewal
  • Volcano Bay Access: No standalone annual pass
  • Multi-Day Tickets: Available with Volcano Bay access
