Qatar Airways, Air Algérie Launch Codeshare Deal on November 15
Qatar Airways and Air Algérie are set to enhance their collaboration through a new codeshare agreement. This initiative will officially commence on November 15. The partnership marks a significant expansion of their existing interline agreement.
Details of the Codeshare Agreement
The codeshare will enable reciprocal flight codes on specific routes operated by both airlines. Air Algérie will feature Qatar Airways flight codes on various domestic routes in Algeria, connecting major cities such as:
- Algiers
- Annaba
- Constantine
- Oran
- Tamanrasset
- Timimoun
- Tindouf
On the other hand, Qatar Airways will include Air Algérie’s codes on its international flights connecting Doha with several key destinations, including:
- Hong Kong
- Kuala Lumpur
- Muscat
Future Expansion Plans
Both airlines have expressed intentions to extend the codeshare agreement to additional routes in the future. This move is expected to enhance travel options for passengers and foster greater connectivity between Algeria and international markets.
