Power has been successfully restored to nearly 1,700 customers of the PUC, following an unexpected outage that began today at approximately 11:50 a.m.
Details of the Power Outage
The outage affected residents primarily in the west end of the city, extending up to Red Rock. Around 1,693 customers were impacted by the disruption.
Cause of the Outage
Jairus Patterson, the manager of communications and customer relations at PUC, reported that the outage was caused by a tree falling onto a power line on Allen Side Road.
