Wasatch County Voting Trends
In Wasatch County, Clerk-Auditor Joey Granger noted a voter participation rate of approximately 31% after considering early and mail-in ballots. Granger pointed out that while this number isn’t particularly high, it reflects a steady engagement compared to previous municipal years.
Mail-in Voting Guidelines
Significant changes have been introduced for mail-in voting this year. Voters must ensure that mail-in ballots are received by 8 p.m. on Election Day to count. This differs from prior years when ballots only needed to be postmarked by that date.
According to Furse, the volume of incoming mail-in ballots has started to decline, which indicates voters are aware of and adhering to the new guidelines for earlier submission.
Voting Locations
Residents still have options for casting their votes. Ballots can be dropped off at designated drop boxes until 8 p.m. on Election Day. The following locations are available for in-person voting:
- Summit County:
- Summit County Department of Health at Quinn’s Junction
- Kamas Library
- Coalville City Hall
- Wasatch County:
