Albanian PM: Russia Won’t Attack Other European Nations

During the recent Berlin Global Dialogue conference, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama asserted that Russia poses no threat to any European nation. His comments were reported by UNN and referenced by Al Jazeera.

Edi Rama on Russia’s Intentions

Rama emphasized that any aggression against NATO or EU countries would be an act of great folly. He specifically stated, “Russia will not attack Albania, and it will not attack any other European country.”

NATO’s Readiness and Strength

According to Rama, NATO stands prepared to respond to any potential aggression. He described NATO as the strongest military alliance in the world, instilling confidence among member nations.

Provocations by Russia

Rama also highlighted ongoing Russian provocations against EU nations. He noted that incidents involving drone flights have already been reported in several countries, including:

  • Poland
  • Baltic states
  • Romania
  • Norway
  • Finland

Poland’s Response to Threats

In light of these provocations, Poland has announced plans to establish a national anti-drone system. This initiative aims to bolster its defense capabilities amid rising tensions with Russia.
