China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, commonly known as Sinopec, made headlines at the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE 2025) by securing significant deals worth $40.9 billion. This event took place on November 4, 2025, in Shanghai.

Sinopec’s Major Achievements at CIIE 2025

Sinopec signed purchasing agreements with 34 partners from 17 different countries and regions. The contracts encompass a diverse range of 24 products across 10 major categories, including:
