Rafael Jódar, a sophomore from the University of Virginia (UVA), clinched the singles title at the Jonathan Fried Charlottesville ATP Pro Challenger held at the Boar’s Head Resort. The event took place on Sunday, showcasing compelling tennis in front of a supportive crowd, including Jódar’s teammates.
Jódar’s Victory Over Damm
In the final match, Jódar faced off against Martin Damm, ranked 191st in the ATP standings. Jódar triumphed with a score of 6-3, 7-6 (2), marking his third ATP Challenger title this year.
