Each option comes with unique features and benefits, allowing users to earn points effectively.
Bilt Card 2.0 Overview
The Bilt Card 2.0 will be available in three different versions:
- No annual fee
- $95 annual fee
- $495 annual fee
Key Features
All three card versions will allow users to earn points on mortgage payments, regardless of the mortgage provider. This is a significant selling point, making it easier for homeowners to rack up rewards.
Current Bilt card members will have the opportunity to select their preferred card option without undergoing a hard credit check. These changes will take effect on February 7, 2026, ensuring a smooth transition for existing users.
Transition Details
As the switch prepares to take place, existing Bilt cards will remain functional until February 6, 2026. Current cardholders can transition their balances seamlessly. In addition, there is the possibility to opt out and receive an Autograph Visa card with a new number if desired.
The card numbers will stay the same through this process, allowing for uninterrupted service for users with digital wallets. Payments through Apple Pay and Google Pay will also automatically update, ensuring convenience for all cardholders.
Application Deadline
For those interested in applying for the existing Wells Fargo Bilt card, applications will close today at noon Eastern time. This seamless transition reflects a commitment to enhancing user experience and providing valuable tools for managing finances.
Bilt Card 2.0 promises to not only streamline mortgage payments but also rewards cardholders for their financial responsibilities. As the launch date approaches, more details will be unveiled in early January 2026.
