Marvel Rivals Revives Popular Event, Offers Free Skins and Units
Marvel Rivals is celebrating the Halloween season with exciting new content. The game’s developers have just launched a rich Zombies PvE mode. Alongside this, they are also reviving a much-loved event from the past.
Galacta’s Gift Vol. 2 Returns
The Galacta’s Gift event is back in Marvel Rivals, having last been featured in May 2025. This iteration, titled Galacta’s Gift Vol. 2, provides players with numerous incentives, including free skins and in-game currency.
Event Details
The event coincides with the Marvel Rivals update released on October 30. Players have until November 14 at 1:59 AM PT (4:59 AM ET/8:59 AM UTC) to participate. To earn rewards, players must complete daily missions across various game modes such as Quick Play, Competitive, and Practice vs. AI.
Rewards Structure
Completing these missions allows players to unlock different reward tiers. The final tier yields a significant prize: the Costume Coin. The following rewards are part of this year’s offerings:
- 300 Units
- 300 Unstable Molecules
- Halloween Nameplate
- 1 Costume Coin
Players can use their Costume Coins in the Store section, under ‘Exchange,’ where a variety of skins are available. While many options remain from the original event, twelve new costumes have been added:
- Mantis – Flora Maiden
- Thor – Reborn from Ragnarok
- Groot – Carved Traveler
- Scarlet Witch – Chaos Gown
- Jeff The Land Shark – Cuddly Fuzzlefin
- Star Lord – Lion’s Mane
- Wolverine – Patch
- Hawkeye – Binary Arrow
- Storm – Symbiote Storm
- Thor – Worthy Waves
- Human Torch – Future Foundation
- Doctor Strange – Old Man Strange
