Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) is set to enhance its flight offerings, introducing new non-stop services to notable U.S. cities. JetBlue Airways will begin operating daily flights to Boston and New York City starting on March 5, 2026.

This new partnership is expected to create between 20 to 25 jobs in the local area. Tracy Stage emphasized that the agreement marks a significant development in the growth of VPS and air travel in Northwest Florida.
