Although the production plant is still under construction, pre-hire training has commenced at the Cornerstone facility.

The Cornerstone facility, which cost $5 million, received funding from Richland County, the South Carolina Technical College System, and the state. This investment is part of a broader $1.3 billion incentive package approved by the General Assembly in 2023 to attract Scout Motors to South Carolina.
