Eagles Inactivate Former Packers, Including RB A.J. Dillon, for ‘MNF’
The Philadelphia Eagles announced their inactives for Monday Night Football against the Green Bay Packers, including former Packers A.J. Dillon and Jaire Alexander.
Eagles Inactivate Former Packers Players
On October 23, the Eagles revealed six players who would not participate in the game at Lambeau Field. Notably, cornerback Jaire Alexander is among the inactives due to a knee injury and a coaching decision.
Injury Updates
- Jaire Alexander: Acquired from the Baltimore Ravens, he spent seven seasons in Green Bay. A knee injury has limited his playtime, resulting in his absence.
- A.J. Dillon: The running back, who joined the Eagles this offseason, has not been active since October 9 and is a healthy scratch for the game.
Dillon, a third-round pick in 2020, has played only six games for the Eagles this season, accumulating 60 rushing yards from 12 carries. His position on the roster has him behind Saquon Barkley, Tank Bigsby, and Will Shipley in the depth chart.
Other Game Notes
While Alexander and Dillon will not play, two recent acquisitions will make their debuts. Edge rusher Jaelan Phillips, obtained from the Miami Dolphins, and cornerback Michael Carter II, acquired from the New York Jets, are both active for the matchup.
