A military appreciation breakfast is set to take place on November 15, honoring veterans in Coshocton County. Organized by the Blue Star Mothers and the Salvation Army, the event runs from 9 to 11 a.m. at The Salvation Army located on Chestnut Street.

Details of the Military Appreciation Event

The breakfast is free and open to all veterans and their spouses residing in the area. The menu will feature a hearty selection including:

  • Sausage gravy
  • Biscuits
  • Scrambled eggs
  • Orange juice
  • Coffee

Guest Speaker and Activities

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from guest speaker John Fletcher. Fletcher is a veteran who served four years in the Marine Corps and later retired as a staff sergeant in the Army National Guard. His military background includes service in Vietnam and during Operation Desert Shield.

Additionally, the event will feature various military displays showcasing historical military information. The display will include panels from World War II, which were recently exhibited on the courthouse lawn.

Event Logistics

To access the event, guests should enter through the Chestnut Street door of The Salvation Army’s gym. Participants are also encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item as a donation.
