Minister Popșoi expressed gratitude for the financial and technical support provided by Canada over the years. He highlighted the importance of this aid, especially in the context of current regional challenges.

Future Projects and Diplomatic Ties
Both parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in developing concrete projects to strengthen the Moldova-Canada partnership for the benefit of citizens in both countries.
Diplomatic relations between Moldova and Canada were established on February 20, 1992. Recent statistics from the National Bureau of Statistics indicate a positive trend in bilateral trade. In 2023, trade volume between the two nations exceeded $15.454 million.

- Imports from Canada amounted to approximately $5.3 million.
