This year, the marathon’s organizers have introduced a new ballot system. This system replaces the previous 48-hour priority entry for returning participants. However, runners who have participated since 2016 can still indicate their previous involvement during the ballot registration.
Key Changes to the Registration Process
- The early entry option for women completing the Irish Life Dublin Half Marathon will now be integrated into the general ballot system.

- An administration fee of €5 will apply for each ballot entry, redeemable against the €110 entry fee if successful.

The application window for the marathon opens at 7 am on November 12, 2025, and closes at midnight on November 17, 2025. Notification of ballot results will be sent to applicants on November 25 and 26, allowing for a staggered announcement.
