The housing strategy also outlines a starter-homes program that pledges an average of 15,000 affordable home supports each year. Additionally, it allocates €2.5 billion to the Land Development Agency to enhance its role in alleviating the housing crisis.

The Taoiseach addressed ongoing infrastructure concerns related to the Greater Dublin drainage project. This initiative aims to serve 500,000 individuals and is critical for facilitating new housing developments.
