• Anton du Beke praised their performance as “thrilling to watch” and “very exciting.”
• Motsi Mabuse highlighted the “drama, presentation, and timing” of their dance.

Another strong performance came from Lewis Cope and Katya Jones, who garnered a score of 37 for their Tango to “12 to 12” by sombr. Their dance added to the night’s energy.

Alex Kingston and Johannes Radebe also performed well, earning a score of 35 for their Waltz to “Weekend in New England” by Barry Manilow. Judge Shirley Ballas remarked on Kingston’s improved comfort level, describing it as “classy and feminine.”

Struggles and Low Scores

On the other end of the spectrum, Balvinder Sopal and her partner Julian Caillon found themselves in a precarious position after their American Smooth to “My Guy” by Mary Wells resulted in lower scores.

Additionally, Vicky Pattison and Kai Widdrington, who last week scored 39, fell dramatically to the bottom with just 27 for their Jive to “Sound of the Underground” by Girls Aloud.

Elimination and Dance-Offs

Last week marked the elimination of athlete Harry Aikines-Aryeetey. He was voted off in a dance-off against La Voix and Aljaž Škorjanec, concluding his journey alongside dance partner Karen Hauer.
