Miami Beach Police apprehended the 22-year-old influencer at approximately 3:12 a.m. on Washington Avenue, a busy area known for its nightlife. Officers were conducting a high-visibility detail when they observed Doherty and a group entering the roadway.
According to police reports, Doherty moved to the center of the road to film content, creating a dangerous situation for passing vehicles. Despite multiple commands from officers to leave the roadway, Doherty refused, claiming he was in the middle of a “bet.”
