I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Returns to WOW 6.6 Million Viewers Overnight

The popular reality show “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” made a grand return to ITV, attracting a remarkable average of 6.6 million viewers. The premiere episode, which spanned 90 minutes, aired on a Sunday night and peaked at 7.3 million viewers, marking ITV’s highest overnight audience in 2025.

Star-Studded Competition Begins

This season’s contestants include notable names such as Martin Kemp from Spandau Ballet, model Kelly Brook, rapper Aitch, comedian Eddie Kadi, and former EastEnders star Shona McGarty. The episode kicked off with these five celebrities skydiving from a helicopter over an Australian beach.

Challenges and Adventures

Upon landing, they faced a challenging entry task. They had to navigate through a wooden structure filled with offal and slime to retrieve a key fob that would grant them access to a getaway car. Aitch, whose real name is Harrison Armstrong, and Kadi succeeded in this challenge, enjoying cocktails as they arrived in the car.

  • The remaining celebrities, including comedian Ruby Wax and social media influencer Morgan Burtwistle (popularly known as Angryginge), did not participate in the skydive.
  • They reached a luxury villa where another competition awaited them.

The second group faced a daunting task, with their heads placed in boxes filled with snakes and their hands submerged in a box of green ants. Their goal was to unscrew bolts to release the essential fob.

Upcoming Challenges

Ruby Wax and Morgan Burtwistle are set to be the first to face an eating challenge this season. The hosts, Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, announced the upcoming “bush tucker trial” will take place at an aptly named “revolting restaurant,” The Divey.

Viewers can catch “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” airing daily at 9 PM on ITV1, and it promises plenty of excitement and challenges ahead.
