Columbus Tops U.S. Growth and Infrastructure Rankings While Ohio Secures Second Place Among States

This recognition comes from Site Selection Magazine’s Global Groundwork Index 2025. Since 2021, the Columbus region has attracted 195 companies, generating over $38 billion in capital investment and creating approximately 28,000 jobs.

This marks a notable improvement for Columbus, which ranked third in the previous year. The city’s rise to the top reflects its strong performance in infrastructure investment and corporate activity. - COTA’s West Broad Corridor expansion
