Discover new easyJet routes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to top travel hotspots
easyJet is expanding its flight offerings from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (JLA) with two exciting new routes for summer 2026. Starting August 2, travelers can fly to Paphos, Cyprus. Meanwhile, a new Lisbon flight will begin operating from March 31.
Details of the New Routes
- Paphos, Cyprus: Flights will operate on Thursdays and Sundays. The city offers stunning archaeological sites, beautiful beaches, and delectable Cypriot cuisine.
- Lisbon, Portugal: Flights will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Visitors can explore historic neighborhoods and enjoy traditional cuisine amidst breathtaking views.
In addition to the new routes, easyJet holidays is offering package deals that include both flights and hotels for each destination.
Recent Launches and Future Prospects
Earlier this month, easyJet also initiated its first flight to Vienna from JLA, which took off on November 13. This service will run three times a week throughout the Christmas season, attracting travelers eager to explore Vienna’s famous Christmas markets.
Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, stated, “In our 30th year, we are committed to making travel easy and affordable for our customers. With these two new routes and attractive holiday packages, we offer more options and connectivity from Liverpool Airport.”
Paul Winfield, the Aviation Director of JLA, expressed enthusiasm for the new easyJet routes. He highlighted the strong demand for travel to Lisbon, noting that prior to COVID, the airport linked to the Portuguese capital with nearly half a million passengers annually. The addition of Paphos complements easyJet’s existing service to Larnaca, addressing the current lack of direct flights to this popular destination.
Growth of easyJet at Liverpool
In the last year, easyJet has expanded its network at Liverpool Airport, adding eight new routes including destinations such as Malta, Fuerteventura, and Marrakesh. To accommodate this growth, the airline has increased its fleet size to eight aircraft.
EasyJet’s new routes enhance travel options for holidaymakers, promising enriching experiences in both Lisbon and Paphos.
