Experience the Enchanting Return of Christmas Magic to Fleet Street Quarter This Year

The festive season is set to begin in the Fleet Street Quarter on Wednesday, November 19. A special switch-on event at Ludgate Circus will illuminate the area, marking the official start of Christmas festivities.

Introducing the Snoopy Sculpture Trail

This year, visitors can enjoy a new Snoopy Sculpture Trail, created in collaboration with Wild in Art and Peanuts™. This trail features various artist-designed Snoopy installations, which can be discovered for the first time in Fleet Street Quarter.

  • Artists: Notable contributors include social media influencer Becky Smith and award-winning children’s author Fran Preston-Gannon.
  • Snoopy Installations: Each artist has crafted their own interpretation of Snoopy with his iconic doghouse.
  • Audio Experience: The trail will be paired with a bespoke audio narrative narrated by comedian Olaf Falafel.

The Snoopy Sculpture Trail is a celebration of the 75th anniversary of Peanuts™, commemorating the area’s history as a central hub for Britain’s newspaper industry. This marks a nostalgic return for the beloved cartoon character to the streets where it was published for many years.

The Fleet Street Quarter will host a calendar of free and low-cost events during November and December. These activities aim to spread seasonal joy and offer something for everyone looking to enjoy the holiday spirit.
