Sky has secured exclusive broadcasting rights for major rugby events, enhancing its sports portfolio significantly. With this acquisition, Sky will showcase the Guinness Men’s Six Nations and the Nations Championship starting in 2026.
Exclusive Rugby Broadcasting Rights
Starting from 2026, Sky will air the prestigious Guinness Men’s Six Nations tournament. This championship features six nations: Italy, England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, and France. Notably, Italy will compete for the twenty-seventh consecutive year.
2026 Six Nations Schedule
The tournament will commence between February 5 and 7, 2026, marking its 132nd edition. The concluding match is slated for March 14, 2026. During this period, fans can look forward to closely contested matches among the top rugby nations.
New Nations Championship
In addition to the Six Nations, Sky will also broadcast the Nations Championship from summer 2026. This innovative tournament will combine the traditional summer and autumn test matches.
