Concord Police Chief Jimmy Hughes confirmed that the shooting involved two teens who were known to each other, emphasizing that it was not a random act of violence directed at the public. The chief reported that police accounted for all individuals involved in the incident.

Victims and Suspects

According to a statement released by the city of Concord, three of the injured teens remain in critical condition:

  • Nasir Ahmad Bostic, 18, of Concord – Currently in critical condition, facing multiple charges, including assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
  • Unnamed Teen – Age not disclosed; also in critical condition and will be charged in juvenile court.
  • Keyvyonn Rayshaund Bostic, 17, of Concord – Uninjured but apprehended and charged with being an accessory and inciting a riot.

In addition, two other 17-year-olds were shot. One was treated and released, while the other remains in critical condition.
