Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, known as a legendary figure in Hindi cinema, recently passed away. On November 12, he was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. At the time, he was reported to be stabilizing and recovering well at home. Dr. Rajiv Sharma confirmed that Dharmendra returned home “fully satisfied” after receiving necessary medical treatment.

He gained fame in the mid-1960s with hits like Ayee Milan Ki Bela, Phool Aur Patthar, and Aaye Din Bahar Ke.

In 2012, he was honored with the prestigious Padma Bhushan award, recognizing his contributions to the film industry. He also holds the record for appearing in the highest number of hit films in Hindi cinema.

Upcoming Projects

Dharmendra’s latest film, titled Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, released in 2024 and featured Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. He is set to appear in the upcoming war drama Ikkis directed by Sriram Raghavan. This film is based on the life of Arun Khetarpal, the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. It also features Agastya Nanda, Simar Bhatia, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Sikandar Kher, with a release anticipated in December.
