Walmart has announced an urgent recall of two popular products due to serious safety concerns. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has raised alarms over the Ozark Trail Tabletop 1-Burner Butane Camping Stove and Outdoor Master children’s and youth helmets. Details of the Recall
Approximately 201,000 Ozark Trail Tabletop 1-Burner Butane Camping Stoves are being recalled. These stoves pose significant burn and fire hazards, having reportedly caused injuries from explosions and fires. Manufactured by China Window Industry Co., Ltd., these stoves were sold from March 2023 to October 2025, with prices ranging from $8 to $45 at Walmart stores and online.
Additionally, about 24,300 Outdoor Master-branded children’s and youth helmets are also being recalled. Imported by Maysun Products, Inc., these helmets, sold from June 2024 through February 2025 for $20 to $32, do not meet mandatory safety standards. Specifically, they lack proper head coverage and positional stability, which could expose children to risks during cycling accidents.

- Out of these, 16 incidents resulted in second-degree burns.
