On Black Friday, the wind will intensify. Although the sun will be shining, daytime highs will only reach the 40s, feeling significantly colder.
Weekend Weather Changes
The coldest air will settle in by Friday night, with widespread temperatures dropping to the 20s. Even coastal regions will experience temperatures below freezing.
However, changes are on the horizon for Sunday. As the sun rises, temperatures are projected to climb, potentially reaching the 60s in many areas. Some southern counties and coastal locations might even flirt with the 70s.
Upcoming Weather Systems
This warm spell is expected to be short-lived. A cold front will move in Sunday night, bringing light rain and a shift to cooler temperatures. Most areas will see the rain cease before dawn on Monday, but overnight lows will remain in the 40s to 50s.
