- Evening Gala Premiere event.
- Fireworks display named “Momentous: Party in the Night Sky.”
Disney expressed gratitude for the public’s understanding during this challenging time.
Zootopia 2’s Success in China
Despite the unfortunate events surrounding its premiere, Zootopia 2 has achieved significant success in China. The film made headlines by achieving the highest opening day for a Hollywood animated film, grossing an impressive $34 million. This also marks the biggest launch-day for any studio film in the country since May 2021.
Looking ahead, Zootopia 2 is anticipated to surpass $140 million in worldwide box office earnings by the end of the weekend.
