On a vibrant night at the JOVEL Music Hall, the 39th Gentlemen’s Session hosted by the “KG Böse Geister” unfolded. This highly anticipated annual event attracted numerous attendees, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement. Unlike the lively Ladies’ Session, this night adhered to a more traditional dress code, featuring predominantly black and white attire.

Upon entering, guests were greeted by a large banner reading, “Welcome to the Spook Deck,” setting a playful tone for the night. However, the entertainment took an unexpected turn when the scheduled Burlesque dancer encountered car trouble just outside of Münster. Ralf “Eppi” Ebbing, the event host, quickly arranged for a replacement, showcasing his experience and calm under pressure.

The event featured several notable guests, including the current Carnival Prince, Christian II. Unlike the usual formal dress, he embraced his regal attire, capturing attention from his prime location near the stage. As he recalled early memories of his initial Gentlemen’s Session, he reflected on the simplicity of the past festivities.

• The highlight of the evening was a surprise Burlesque performance by Anna, known as “Parfait de la Neige.”
• Quickly pivoting from a last-minute call, she delivered a passionate performance that captivated the audience, replacing the cancelled act seamlessly.

Additionally, the young representatives of the “KG Böse Geister,” Princes Max I. and Rosalie I., brought pride to the organization, displaying their growing talent on stage.
