I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here sees second contestant eliminated
In the latest episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, comedian Eddie Kadi was voted out, becoming the second contestant eliminated from the show this season. The 42-year-old entertainer expressed mixed emotions, stating he felt both happiness and sadness about leaving after 16 days in the jungle.
Eddie Kadi’s Experience in the Jungle
Kadi, who hails from Congo, shared his unique perspective on his time in the camp. He spoke about feeling a connection to his ancestors and the rainforest culture, saying, “It’s so crazy… we are enough as a people, as human beings.” He also expressed hope that reality TV star Jack Osbourne would be crowned King of the Jungle.
Recent Departures and Leadership Changes
- Eddie Kadi was the second celebrity eliminated.
- Sports broadcaster Alex Scott was voted off a few days earlier.
- Shona McGarty stepped down as camp leader after a contraband incident.
Shona discovered butter in the food supplies, which led to her decision to resign from her leadership position. She commented, “I don’t know where it came from, but I used it.” The campmates speculated whether it was Alex who brought salt into the camp.
New Leadership in Camp
Following McGarty’s resignation, the campmates elected comedian Ruby Wax as the new leader. Wax declared a shift in the camp dynamics, proclaiming, “No more Mrs Nice Guy!” She assigned roles within the camp, including having rapper Aitch as her entertainer and social media star Ginge as her dancer.
Rebellion in the Ranks
In a twist to the leadership, Aitch, Ginge, and Osbourne began plotting a rebellion against Ruby Wax. Ginge noted, “We are making a stand versus them,” while Aitch echoed their defiance with, “Viva la revolution!”
As the competition heats up, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! continues to air at 9 PM on ITV1, STV, and ITVX, followed by I’m A Celebrity…Unpacked on ITV2.
