Ruby Wax accused of being a jungle thief by former Im a Celeb campmate
In a surprising revelation, comedian Eddie Kadi has accused fellow campmate Ruby Wax of being a “jungle thief” during their time on the reality show, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here. Eddie, who left the show on November 30, discussed Ruby’s antics after returning to civilization.
Ruby Wax’s Alleged Thievery in the Jungle
According to Eddie, the 72-year-old television presenter allegedly took several items from other campmates. He specifically mentioned that Ruby had been seen with Vogue’s missing socks and boots. He described a moment when Ruby nonchalantly acknowledged taking Vogue’s socks, stating, “I got her socks. So what? I like it.”
Eddie also noticed that Ruby had taken to using Vogue’s water bottle, disregarding the fact it belonged to another contestant. When confronted, he recalled Ruby’s response: “Oh, dear. Oh, well, come on. She’ll be fine. She won’t die.” Despite her questionable behavior, the campmates seem to have an affectionate regard for Ruby, with Eddie noting, “Ruby in there is like the Queen Mother. She can do whatever she wants because we all want to look after her.”
Contraband Issues in Camp
The current season of I’m a Celebrity… has faced numerous contraband incidents. Recently, contestant Alex Scott was caught adding salt to dishes, while Shona McGarty was removed from her leadership role after bringing in a can of air freshener. Eddie Kadi suspects that Ruby may have also smuggled items into the camp, expressing his hesitance to confront her directly about it.
Controversy Surrounding Camp Relationships
As the second celebrity to exit the jungle, Eddie dismissed any romantic rumors between contestants Aitch and Shona McGarty. He humorously claimed that Aitch expressed a greater fondness for him, mentioning their playful interactions. Eddie emphasized the camaraderie among the campmates, saying, “We’ve all got a soft spot for each other.”
Reflecting on his time in the jungle, Eddie spoke of mixed emotions about his departure. He stated, “I’m happy and sad at the same time… It feels very surreal to be on such an iconic show.” With friendships formed and fears faced, his jungle experience left a lasting impression on him.
