Robbery Charges Filed Against Two in Bowling Green
Authorities in Bowling Green, Kentucky, have charged two men in connection with a robbery that allegedly occurred over the weekend. The incident report indicates that the Bowling Green Police Department was called to the 300 block of Hillview Mills Boulevard on Sunday.
Details of the Alleged Robbery
On arrival, police learned of reports regarding masked individuals reportedly armed with firearms. These suspects were attempting to enter an apartment when law enforcement arrived, but they had already departed the scene. Witnesses reported hearing four or five gunshots from a nearby area.
Victim’s Account
Following the gunfire, police moved to the 500 block of Moss Creek Avenue after they received a call about a home intrusion. The victim stated that several male suspects had entered through a back window and confronted her, demanding to know the location of a male resident’s room.
Confrontation and Pursuit
The male resident returned home during the altercation and armed himself with a handgun. He fired multiple rounds at the suspects, who then responded by shooting back before fleeing on foot. An officer observed several individuals running across Creekwood Avenue and initiated a pursuit but lost visual contact.
Arrests and Ongoing Investigation
Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and the Western Kentucky University Police Department, conducted a thorough search of the area. Authorities later located 21-year-old Jaivion Harris at a FiveStar convenience store and found 19-year-old Brian Williams Jr. nearby, suffering from a gunshot wound.
