Escape from Tarkov has revealed the new TERMINAL map, stirring excitement among players. This map was included in the game’s 1.0 update but remained inaccessible until recently. The first player to gain access was the streamer known as TIGZ.

To enter the TERMINAL map, players must complete specific prerequisites. This includes finishing the entire campaign chain based on choices made throughout the game. Here’s how to proceed:

• Complete the main campaign objectives.
• Visit Shoreline between 22:00 and 04:00.
• Use the TRANSITION POINT located outside the TERMINAL gate.

This transition leads to a cutscene that initiates the endgame mission titled “The Ticket.” Players must then navigate through TERMINAL to reach the Zubr boat, the only extraction point available.

Gameplay Challenges in TERMINAL

In TERMINAL, players face a unique PvE environment under siege. A significant number of enemies pose challenges, and players begin with no equipment. Although TIGZ was the first to explore TERMINAL, he was unable to complete the mission, succumbing shortly before the end.

Nikita Buyanov, the head of the development studio, acknowledged TIGZ’s achievement publicly. He commented on the difficulty of the final mission, indicating that only a small portion of players may successfully complete it.
