Emirates Launches Airbus A350-900 on Dubai-Montreal Route February 2026
Emirates Airlines has announced the introduction of the Airbus A350-900 on its Dubai-Montreal route, effective February 1, 2026. This marks a significant upgrade from the Boeing 777-300ER currently serving the route.
Introduction of the A350-900 to Canada
This upgrade will be the first instance where Emirates offers Premium Economy Class on its Canadian routes. The Airbus A350-900 features a total of 312 seats, including:
- 32 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout
- 21 Premium Economy Class seats in a 2-3-2 layout
- 259 Economy Class seats in a 3-3-3 layout
Current Operations and Future Plans
Before its deployment on the Dubai-Montreal route, the A350-900 is already in service with flights to multiple destinations such as:

- Bahrain
- Muscat
By the end of the year, Emirates plans to introduce this aircraft to a total of 17 cities worldwide.
