Clodagh Blighe Cussen, a resident of Knocknacarra, Galway, and formerly from Wexford and Drogheda, passed away on November 30, 2025. She died peacefully, surrounded by family, after a long illness that she faced with dignity and courage.

Clodagh is survived by her loving husband, Fred, and her cherished sons, Morgan and Christian. She leaves behind her heartbroken parents, Michael and Rita, along with her brothers Pat from Dublin and Jim from Drogheda, and her sister Orlaith from Wicklow.

Family and Friends

Her family extends to include brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Clodagh is remembered fondly by Kai, Christopher, Dylan, Joshua, Ziva, Lainey, Kory, Zara, and Jonny, alongside the entire Blighe family and her many friends. Even her beloved pet, Buster, shared a special bond with her.

Funeral Arrangements

Visitation took place in St. Anthony’s Room at St. John the Apostle Church in Knocknacarra on December 3, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Her removal proceeded to the church for the funeral service.

The Funeral Mass occurred on December 4 at 12 noon in St. John the Apostle Church. Following the Mass, Clodagh was privately cremated at Shannon Crematorium.
