Virat Kohli scored 102 runs, marking his 53rd century in ODI cricket. He showcased his excellence once again after India lost captain Rohit Sharma early in the innings for just 14 runs. Kohli’s innings began with an explosive six off South African bowler Lungi Ngidi.

Ruturaj Gaikwad also made a significant contribution, scoring 105 runs, which marked his maiden ODI century. The two batsmen put together a partnership of 195 runs for the third wicket, providing India with a solid foundation. Kohli’s Record and Performance
