A 48-year-old man was apprehended in Lublin, suspected of committing internet fraud using the BLIK method. This individual, a resident of the Nowy Sącz area, was hiding from the law and had five outstanding arrest warrants against him.

Massive SIM Card Discovery

Police in Strzyżów uncovered an astonishing 192 SIM cards and 56 mobile phones at the suspect’s residence. They also confiscated over 37,000 PLN in cash. The investigation began in May 2023 after a report of fraud via an online classifieds site.
